Re’Festival!
3 Days of Re’Love, took place on 23rd to 25th June 2023 at Excelsior and EX2, Park Royal Design District, NW10
Re’Store hosted a 3-day Festival in Park Royal June 23rd- June 25th 2023; 3 Days of Re-Love kicked off with a Friday night Fashion Show followed by a full weekend of make-and-mend workshops, panel talks, and children’s activities to inspire visitors to reuse and remake and rethink our future consumption habits.
Visitors were able to meet local makers and discover a growing creative scene and circular economy in Park Royal.
The Friday night launch party was held at Excelsior Studios and included a fashion show were local designers showcased repurposed and upcycled designs.
Over the weekend, 20+ remakers and vintage and preloved fashion and lifestyle sellers take over EX2, a new innovation hub in Park Royal, for a weekend market, workshops, panel talks and a BIG SWAP. Make and mend workshops and the swap were held throughout the weekend - visitors got an introduction to Japanese mending techniques, Sashiko, Boro and Kintsugi, and learned creative upcycling skills.
Panel talks took place with hosts Loma-Ann Marks, Editor in Chief of Reclaim Magazine and former fashion editor and eco-activist Bel Jacobs explored circularity in fashion, lifestyle and interiors.
